The Gerber Gator Machete,, what can I say, its friggin monster looking. I LOVE IT! you have a machete on one side and a saw on the other. The blade is very sharp and the saw side is as well. It will cut through some serious brush and the saw side is great for small trees and think bushes. You could make some quick work of a camp site, survival shelter or even zombies with this thing!! The handle is a non slip rubber material that keeps your grip when your hands start to sweat. its Gerber, its well built. What else can I say about it? Just friggin cool cool as piece of man gear. Gerber also makes a mini version of this as well, which is more packable but still as tuff as its big brother. I love this thing! great job Gerber!
Hi Nick, I have a Gerber Gator Machete too, And agree it is amazing! although I doubt it will ever be used for chopping the limbs off zombies, it has certainly made short work of undergrowth which has been blocking my path.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a great tool! I am looking to get a mini gerber next and abuse it a little as well. Also looking forward to a cold steel machete to punish down the road.
