How to make your own antiseptic ointment
Here is a link on how to make your own antiseptic ointment. Think about this, every year we get more and more antibiotic resistant bugs out there, but these same many of these bugs are still vulnerable to old school treatments. If you cut down on the use of antibiotics and use old school methods you help stop these bugs. If you hit them with something they have never had,, well YA KILL THEM or slow them down till you can get better treatment options.
Besides in a P.A. environment you will want to conserve your resources, if you have things on hand that can be bought cheaply and stored for long periods of time well you are ahead of the curve. I recommend a store of antibiotics but you will want to save them as last resort. Use natural alternatives first. Because you just might not need antibiotics to begin with...

The Marine Corp ILBE... (Ruck Sack)
OK,, got to play with one not to long ago, will be looking to own one soon.. This is an awesome pack, it holds a shit load of stuff. 4500 cubic inches and 120 pounds of gear! It is very comfortable and has pretty good support for an internal frame pack.It also has MOLLE straps which can also be utilized for adding some extra gear/pouches on if needed. A good long term pack with a good reputation behind it. you can find them for starting around $120.00 and up. If your looking for a good pack down the road take a look at these. BTW, the army has a similar version that is pretty good as well, I have only found them in Woodland camo, but with the right paint and some time they can be lightened up or retoned if needed. One thing I would do is spray them down with wet proof and add to their water resistance. Nobody likes damp or wet cloths/gear!

Dermabond
Dermabond for those not familiar is super glue for you. You can use it sometimes as a replacement for sutures, or as a cover for wounds. Now as always, if you are going to try a product or use it make sure you know who what when where and why! Also CLEAN the wound thouroughly before you seal it up. You dot want to close a dirty wound and risk infection down the line, making what could have been a rather minor situation now very serious. There are links on how to use it on youtube to make it easier. and if in doubt, keep it on hand and find someone who knows how to do it.
